Design for Work is a series of events organized by AKKA Architects, where we invite experts from different disciplines to discuss the ever-changing dynamics of a workplace with the aim of better understanding the relation between work and space.
Next DfW: Architecture as an enabler of innovation at work
Can architectural process foster something new and creative? How can we enable innovation at work through architecture? Experts from different disciplines will share their experiences with new models of work such as co-working, and the impact of physical space.
‘Design for Work’ mind-set reclaims architecture as an interdisciplinary (or non-disciplinary), democratic and participatory process for organizational sustainability.
During the event, Bertie van Wyk from Herman Miller and AKKA Architects founder Stephanie Akkaoui Hughes will speak about how a workspace can be an asset in an organization and how can organizations collaborate with other design and architecture fields to innovate through their workspace.
Additional to the program of ‘Design for Work’, the Team of AKKA Architects and Stephanie Akkaoui Hughes will like to take advantage of this opportunity to raise our glasses with you to make a toast for the 5th anniversary of AKKA Architects in which all of our guests have played a very important role.
