In the April issue of Gulf Times, I explore how physical settings and and future trends empower our dynamics of work.
At AKKA, we have been deeply involved with the future of work, its nature, dynamics requirements and processes lately. We have been investigating the relationship between the physical settings of workplaces and the dynamics of doing work. The questions is how can we provide workplaces that enhance the experience, interactions and results of people working in them?
To explore the current and future trends in workplaces, this month I speak to one of AKKA’s collaborators, Oliver Baxter, Insight Program Manager at Herman Miller. Beyond individual pieces of furniture, Herman Miller has been studying the dynamics of people at work. This endeavour is called ‘The Living Office’.
Take a look at my article here or below to learn more about The Living Office concept of Herman Miller and AKKA’s vision on the future of work.
